In one of the books I'm currently reading, "Ready, Fire, Aim", Michael Masterson, a successful entrepreneur, investor, business consultant and writer, says that before going ahead and getting business cards, logo designs, renting a retail space and launching our websites- We must go out and sell our products!
If we don't sell our products we don't know if people will buy them, what we must improve, or if the price is accurate, and most of all, we have no cash flow!
Most of us follow what most business advisers suggest, get organized before launching your product. But there is only so much we can get ready before we start selling. Some of us (me included) spend years preparing for the big launch, and when the big launch arrives we have no one buying because we forgot to sell all this time! We just expect people to walk in the door without having marketed and sold any products!
If you need to be convinced, read this Masterson's book and get inspired but the successful and unsuccessful stories he tells.

Or Lauderly, Co-Founder of Green Globe
www.SimplyGreenGlobe.org
OrLauderly@Simplygreenglobe.org

United States Receive Peace Prize

One of my first posts on this blog was the day after Obama was chosen to be our president. That time, almost one year ago, was one of the most inspirational and meaningful of our nation.

We rose above our egos, racism, and negative belief systems (to only name a few things) and entered a place where we chose Hope and Peace, where we chose to be joined together as a nation. And we were. For a few months before the election, and a few months after the election it was a sincere: yes, we did.

And now, our President, the man who represents our nation, the man who represents our values as Americans, the fact that we chose him over anyone else, has received the Noble Peace Prize! And what are we doing? Criticizing him for not having accomplished enough, that it's too soon, that the people have rushed to make such a choice.

Well, he isn't just a man. He, as an individual did not win the peace prize. It was us; our nation won this prize. Obama received this prize on our behalf. The fact that we chose him shows "[our] extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples" (cited from here).

So I ask our world to take a moment to see what it means to have Barak Obama as the President of the United States. What it means not on a shallow level, but to look at it from a place that shows what our nation has done. To see how we combined our desires and chose a leader who represents our hope and the societal changes we have made, and are willing to continue making in order to continue reaching higher and higher.

One of the many things President Obama has taught us is to stand together. Let's stand together on showing the world that the Nobel Prize Awarders did not make a mistake in their choice of Obama. Let's remember why we chose him। Let's start running for peace within ourselves, as individuals, and as a nation; let's look deep within ourselves to find our involvement with this peace prize, let's continue on the right path. Continue to evolve into a better nation, one individual (meaning we each do this within ourselves instead of only waiting for others to do it) at a time.

In this week’s Parashat Emor, God speaks to Moshe the laws pertaining to the Kohanim. These laws, such as, “They shall not make bald patches on their heads, nor shall they shave the edge of their beard, nor shall they make cuts in their flesh,” ask us to look at perfection. God makes it clear that it is unacceptable for any of the Kohanim to come with any faults. God says to Moshe, “He shall not leave the Sanctuary, and he will not desecrate the holy things of his God.”
What is God really saying here?
He’s saying, I made things Holy. Respect those things by being Holy yourselves.

Where did we miss God’s point? When did the people on our planet forget that the Earth we live on is Holy? That our presence should be Holy as well?
We’ve filled the land with imperfections. We, who are God’s children and should remain pure, have filled it with “blindness, lameness, boils, broken legs and broken arms.” We’ve made bald patches in our forests, shaved the edges of our seas and cut the flesh of our earth.
And it’s not just the earth that we’ve hurt, it’s also ourselves and our bodies. We smoke, we pollute, we eat foods which destroy our physiology.
In biblical time all it took was God ordering Moshe.
What does it take now? As I’ve read on twitter, “hundreds of people have the swine flu and everyone wears masks. Millions of people have AIDS and no one wears condoms.”
What does it take to wake us up? Swine flu? An economic crisis? Why do we have to wait for major pain before we can take action?

I don’t think God really meant no bald spots or blindness, I think God meant take care of your bodies and your spirits. I think God tried to say, if you don’t respect your own body enough it means you don’t respect me and what I gave you.

I hope you can take a minute and check yourself. Look in your pocket, look inside your purse. When you get home, look at your space. What do you carry with you, physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, that is unnecessary, that is causing imperfections in your life, therefore on our globe?
What will it take for you to let go of those things, to release or exchange them with something healthier and more positive for everyone? Don’t wait for pain to overtake you, don’t wait for all the ice to melt or another major hurricane or earth quake. Find the most important thing to you in this universe and imagine what it would be like if it was gone.
Then protect it with your entire being, protect it with holiness and respect. God will see you care and will protect it too.

pulling out hair
in a way so similar to a mushroom cloud
standing over Manhattan
the significant other of the world
The world
is sick, looking for hands, for voices
turning away most
picking over the needed
and the needed,
keep trying
Reaching for the facets of human beings
reaching for trys and crys
preaching lullabies
Preaching nothing other than the sound
of religion and the fish
their bones rotting under mossy seas
under bleached boats
ask for nothing more than the honesty
of seamen playing unknowns uneducated
under aged
playing with the question of
freedom
They want nothing more
unless you count the sick
reaching for greatness

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5307333009729528322" style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; The table not only didn't welcome anyone to sit and dine on it, but rather it was suffocating in its own mess. After cleaning for a few hours, we ended up eating dinner in the living room on the sofa.

M is the oldest of five siblings, and was born in the town she now lives in. She remembers sitting around the dinner table while her two younger brothers talked with their mouths full. As M processed her feelings she remembered feeling deserted by her surroundings at that time, which also effected how unstable she felt throughout her youth. As we dug deeper into M's emotions about the kitchen table we found that M's fear around a clear table actually was the fear that she would suddenly feel deserted and abandoned. If the table was cleared, M wondered, would she have to feel that again? M has also suffered from eating disorders since a young age, which the table partly represented as well. A messy kitchen table represents a mess in our space of creation, health, digestion and community (all of which M has been struggling through).

One of the big things M and I talked about was the fog that seemed to follow her around the house. That fog was created energetically from the mess that accumulated over the years. It mainly began when M lost her husband several years ago, and has carried on since while M has been dealing with the overwhelming emotions of such a painful loss.

It took one week of mental, physical and emotional clean up for M to be able to wake up on February 14th and be ready to clear up the table.

When I woke up that day I had a lovely Valentine's Day surprise waiting for me. M had decided she was going to clear off the table and that we were going to have breakfast on it! She took a carton box and put all the papers from the table in that box. We put on place mats, some flowers in a vintage Coca Cola bottle, napkins with hearts on them, and sat down together to celebrate love, consciousness and connection to each other, to ourselves and to our bodies. When I saw M clearing off her kitchen table, and placing all those papers into the box I felt a change in our work. I knew that what we've been doing was helping her, that the fog was starting to subside. Since Valentine's Day, M and I sat at her kitchen table for every meal. We were able to interact with each other eye to eye, rather than what it was like when we were sitting in her living room on the sofa (with Charlie, her dog, jumping to get a bite). M's digestion changed, her attitude toward her body and spirit evolved. Each day she became more and more aware of the things she was feeling and where she was feeling them. She was able to verbalize her feelings and connect them to where they stemmed from. Slowly she re-learned, and is re-learning who she is, how she is and where she is. She is present in her body more than she has been in years. She knows that the actions she is taking today (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) are all going to effect her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and of course the children they bring to this world. She knows once she clears up her part, there is more encouragement for others to clear up theirs.

The things that were put into the box on Valentine's day moved to their right place, and by the end of my stay M had a clear office table she is now able to use on a regular basis without letting the fog slip back in. Her kitchen table is still warm and inviting, and most importantly she is present in her body and continues maintaing her success.

Freedom

This week's Torah portion is the first part of the famous passover story. God tells Moses to go to Pharaoh and tell him to "let the Israelites depart from his land." (Exodus 6.11)
On several occasions throughout the story (going into the next parasha also) God stiffens Pharaoh's heart so that he does not free the enslaved Israelites.

The interesting parallel that I connect this story to is Enslavement.

Most of us have been held accountable for being enslaved by our job, our school, our parents, our lovers, our children, our clothes, our finances, etc.

In the past four days I've heard of and seen 7 people and businesses whom I know on a personal level, lose their jobs. In the story of Moses and the Israelites in Egypt, God sends Moses and Aaron 11 times to ask Pharaoh to free them from slavery. And all these times God purposefully "stiffens" Pharaoh's heart, almost to have a reason to bring down 10 plagues. I've asked myself the question of why God would do this several times in the past. And during Kaballat Shabat I found my answer.

Each time God sends Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh they go with complete trust. God wants to "test" the Israelites, and their belief in Him. How many times could he let them down, if there is even a number, before they stopped trusting in Him? Just like in Job, God took everything away from him in order to check how far Job will go. When I mentioned this to someone they asked me, "Do you really think God tests people?" I think God tests us in order for us to test ourselves. For us to challenge ourselves to own our Truth.

So during this time of financial struggle, the important thing is to continue trusting in God, in the Divine, in the Creator, in the Uni-verse. Continue trusting and believing and knowing that all of the "bad" things that are happening are actually happening in order for something bigger to happen. A shift, a change, a complete movement of things, something bigger within Us. Out of the 7 people I know who are currently unemployed, two are moving from the corporate field into the artistic field, one of them is thinking of doing the opposite. And it doesn't matter what field you are moving from and into, what matters is that you- all of us- are shifting our standard thoughts. We're moving out of what we've always been trained to do and work in, and we're searching for better, more interesting and integrated ways to live. Look inside for this change, not outside. "Be the change you want to see."

And so with Enslavement in mind, let's allow the Divine force to continue opening our path in any shape, form, sound or other ways we might not know or understand. May we continue shifting into the land of the free, the land of enlightenment and joy, the land all our souls so truly yearn for. Let's honor what we desire others to do, (our new president for example) let's do it somewhere it will really make a difference; that place inside of us. Free yourself from what has been chaining you down.

<p style="margin-top: 0pt; When I sat down to eat lunch I asked her, "Lauderly, do you want to listen to music, watch a video online, read or do computer work?"
Envisioned Self answered, "No."
She wanted to sit in silence, to concentrate on the food that entered her mouth, her chewing, her straight back, her grounded feet and her thoughts.
While I ate I made sure to honor my Envisioned Lauderly. I made sure I finished chewing one bite before I put another bite in my mouth. I thought about Lauderly eating on a busy work day. "Would you stop and eat without doing any work?" Of course she would.
What I learned is that Lauderly is not eating in order to survive. She is not in a dangerous place where no food is available. She is safe and secure, and even when working with a very busy schedule, Lauderly will eat when the time is right.
While writing this I can feel my thyroid shaking, telling me, "I can't figure this out!"
Parts of me are not sure I'll be able to honor and fully submerge into Lauderly. Other parts of me know that there is no other way.

I have had food issues my whole life. They haven't been major or noticeable. But food has always been a very important thing for me. I don't believe I ever turned down food (other than for the reason of shyness, embarrassment or money) and I was raised with the importance of cleaning out my plate; food is not something to throw away. My realization in the past year or so has been that I spent many lifetimes previous to this one in frightening places without any food. The main one was my last lifetime in which I starved to death.
I have been learning that I won't starve to death again, but my emotions weren't capable of processing that knowledge. Today, however, I understand that during this lifetime, with my comfortable living situation, I will never need to be in fear of having no food.

And this real-ization came to me from acting out my Envisioned Self. It was the best way for me to really understand that I am not going to go hungry. I find this an incredible tool for those looking for answers and solutions in their daily lives.

My recommendation to you today is to slow down in anything you're doing, right now especially, and check: "Is my [Highest Self, my Envisioned Self, my Soul, Me- without any context] doing the thing I am supposed to do, in the way I am supposed to do it?"
Ask yourself now, "What emotion do I feel while I read this?
Should I stop and go do something that benefits me more?
Am I sitting in the form which my Envisioned Self would sit in?
Am I breathing in the way my Envisioned Self would breathe in?"

I ask these questions even when I set my alarm to wake up the next morning. "What time would Lauderly wake up?" The results for me are truly beneficial, and I assume will only help me grow further.

Entering the Fourth

Three weeks prior to November 7, 2008, 53% of Planet Earth felt victimized on a daily basis by their neighbors, colleagues, partners and families. Feeling victimized caused grief and fear. These emotions are hooked up with our Kidney and Lung meridian points. Looking at health statistics showing 40% of Americans snore , 8% has chronic kidney problems , and 300 million people in the world have asthma , we can see how grief and fear affect our physical bodies.
Those who felt victimized tensed up, which caused changes in the vibration of the Matrix.
At that time 24% of the world put a guard around themselves, mostly because of fear and low self-esteem. This created blockage in the Matrix; slowing down our collective-souls’ intention.

On November 7th, three days following the elections for America’s next president, our planet experienced a profound change. From the roaring 20s until 2003 we, as a whole, have been connecting on a Second chakra level. Toward the 2004 elections we began shifting and entering Third chakra consciousness. We stayed there until November 4, 2008, when we finally broke the lid off Third chakra and entered the Fourth chakra, to fully arrive in it on the 7th.
The shift lowered the percentage of those who feel victimized to 30%, and those who put a guard around themselves to 20%. The potential is for us to stay in Fourth chakra for three years, then move up to Fifth, where we’ll be able to express ourselves as One. That will happen if we stay in the light of Fourth chakra; if we sink into the love that radiates out of this place we entered as a Whole just a week ago.

Our Part
It is not that Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Catholics, Mormons, etc. are or are not on the right path. 22% of human creations are in a constant search for a Divine Creator. They consist of all types, colors, faces and symbols. It does not matter what First chakra system of religious practices they are, or are not, following. It does not mean that one or the other is better; it is bigger than that (our Souls know this; our bodies forget).
In the opening of the Bhagavad Gita, Arjuna’s teacher, Sri Krishna, instructs Arjuna to fight his own people. Amit Goswami writes, “The predicament of Arjuna is that he is faced with killing his own kin. Is that not the case with people who aim to fulfill their human potential?”* In order to understand ourselves as beings we must follow Krishna’s teachings, and let go of what has been embedded onto us.
I do not mean we must, on a physical or soul level, kill, murder or destroy anyone. What I mean is that we must look at our base, enter our First chakra foundation and infrastructure and check what is and what is not working. Do we own our beliefs or are we carrying others’? Do we own our feelings or are we feeling others’? When we speak, is it our Soul speaking, or do our words come from our First chakra? When we listen, is our Soul listening, or is it our mothers, fathers, grandparents and great-grandparents listening?

Re-creating Foundation
In the past, First chakra 93% of the time connected us to wounds and separated us from enlightenment. This has been the case for thousands of years. Looking at our past as humans, 80% of our existence has been based on a First chakra connection. It is only in the past seven or so decades (on a linear timeline) that we have begun climbing up the chakras and started connecting with individuals outside of our First chakra.
But even then very rarely did we leave Second chakra to enter higher ones. Up until several years ago the Ego we carry in our Second chakras stopped us from connecting with one another as Souls. Souls connect on Fourth chakra and above. The chakras below don’t appeal to our Souls because they are three-dimensional and create separation.

While there has been a big positive shift, there is still plenty of violence in the world. 70% of this violence comes from our need to come together without knowing how. It is our frustration at one another and ourselves regarding how confusing and difficult it is to complete the task of coming together. There have been masses of First and Second chakra wars that distanced us and caused this difficulty of reuniting with one another. We can see however, that we are getting out of that paradigm.

We have done marvelously entering the Fourth chakra on a 3-D level. However, in order to accomplish the potential of entering 5th chakra in just three years, each of us must rise to Fourth, while making sure that their ground chakras are clean, grounded and prepared to hold and support the incredible power and light that is needed in maintaining staying and moving above Fourth chakra.

The clean-up of previous generations’ fear, grief, depression, suppression and so on, which are stored in our First chakras, will release a certain vibration from our Matrix and send it to the Eleventh chakra, where negative energy is stored, honored and transformed into useful energy. This will decrease the percentage of diseases and pain, and will raise our frequency to a place that has yet to exist on Planet Earth.

Dear Friends,
This year we are making changes. We are making what has seemed impossible for decades a reality. We have hope and faith in our evolving country, our new leaders and ourselves. We are making revolutionary impacts on the world with our new beliefs and ideals. We have taken action, received, and will continue receiving our results accordingly. We have opened our eyes wider to find out what our planet really seeks.

In 2006, with the help of Al Gore’s documentary, America woke up to the issue of Global Warming and since then we have been exposed to how chemically toxic our world has become. Most of us have been practicing recycling in our homes. We are aware, and have informed our children of the Inconvenient Truth of our planet. We each feel we’re doing our best at saving our environment, but are we forgetting about ourselves and our children?

Asthma rates have jumped 400% in 30 years, more than 50 million Americans have allergies, and cancer is the leading cause of death in children ages 5-9. We all know that we are faced with toxic air (cigarettes, cars, factories, germs, etc.) everyday as we step out of our homes and offices into the streets; but according to the EPA, organic pollutants are 2 to 5 times higher in homes than they are outside.

In our current perspective, we fear germs and bugs and use toxins to kill them. Unfortunately, the chemicals we use, to kill microbes and pests, such as Chlorine Bleach and Lysol, have been shown to harm humans, particularly children. Exposure to bleach and Lysol is known to worsen asthma and to contribute to other chronic lung disorders and heart problems. Research indicates that exposure to ammonia may cause reproductive, endocrine and immune system disorders. That not only means the cleaning supplies when they are under the sink, but also when they are used on our floors, our sinks and our tubs. It also means the dishes we eat out of and the clothes we wear after washing them with most laundry detergents.

I invite you all to watch Toxic Brew ( http://video.aol.com/video-detail/cbc-marketplace-toxic-brew/2132218508 ), a twenty-minute CBC Marketplace program on the chemicals found in our homes. It is important for all of us to be aware of our increasingly chemical society and ask: “If these chemicals harm our environment how are they affecting our homes and our children?”

During the International Year of Planet Earth and this revolutionary time in all of our lives, I hope that all of us look closer at the products we use to clean our homes, ask questions, and reach out for healthy solutions. I promise you there are smart solutions for all of us if we really choose to know them.

There are alternative products out there that work as effectively as the ones we have been using for decades, and in some cases these new products are even stronger on dirt and more economical. Please feel free to contact me for more information and advice. We are all excited about change, and the best place to practice this change is in our homes with our families.
